We understand that reaching out for psychological support is a significant step, and you may have questions before starting. Below you will find answers to some of the most common questions we receive. If you cannot find the information you are looking for, please feel free to contact us directly — we are happy to help.
Therapy can benefit anyone navigating difficult emotions, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply wanting to better understand themselves. You do not need to be in crisis to seek support — many people come to therapy to grow, reflect, and develop new tools for living well.
Your first session is a chance for us to meet, discuss what brings you to therapy, and explore your goals. It is an informal conversation where you can ask questions and begin to build a sense of whether we are the right fit. There is no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with.
This varies from person to person. Some clients benefit from short-term support of 6–10 sessions, while others prefer longer-term therapy to work through deeper issues. We will regularly review your progress together and adjust the plan to suit your needs.
